Getting going

First, depending on the transfer option you have chosen, you will start your trip with a hotel pickup from Dubai. Meanwhile, Omani visa procedures are set up for you ahead of time; therefore, you should keep your passport ready for border inspection. Following a picturesque two-hour journey across the Hajar Mountains and coastal vistas, your dhow tour officially starts at Dibba Harbor.

What to expect

Sail into the serene waters of Musandam atop a double-deck wooden dhow decorated in traditional Omani style.

• Khor Sham: Take a cruise through this famous fjord, which is renowned for its serene bays and sheer limestone cliffs.
• Swimming and snorkeling: Make a stop in protected bays where you can swim, snorkel, or float while wearing a life jacket. All necessary gear is available.
• Fishing and banana boat ride: Take a quick banana boat ride or go handline fishing from the dhow.
• Lunch and leisure: Savor a buffet lunch with fresh fruit and soft drinks on board. As the boat glides past rocky inlets and coastal settlements, unwind on deck.
• Dolphin spotting: Look for the playful dolphins that frequently swim with the dhow.

• From Dubai, select between private and shared return transportation.

• All visitors must have prior authorization before entering Dibba Musandam.
• To process authorization, our staff will gather the information from your passport and visa.
• Processing time: 24 hours for visitors, 3 working days for UAE citizens
• Keep your original passport (valid for at least six months) and Emirates ID (valid for at least three months) with you.
• Bring your own fishing gear and swimwear.
• During activities, luggage is not permitted.
• The weather affects activities like deep sea fishing and banana boat rides.
• Due to weather or sea conditions, tour schedules may alter.
• If there are no transfers, get to the destination at least half an hour before the cruise departs.
• Due to traffic, shared transfer times may differ by 30 to 60 minutes.
• Shared transfers are accessible from Deira, Bur Dubai, and Sheikh Zayed Road up to Marina; transfers are supplied based on the chosen option.
• No smoking, eating, or drinking is permitted in transfer vehicles.
• At the Oman border, each visitor is required to pay a 31 AED crossing fee.
• Partially utilized services and no-shows are not refundable (100% no-show fee applies).
• The tour is contingent upon availability.
